The 2014 Art for Heart Artists

Artist Statement
Visual art is one of the most beautiful forms of expression, misunderstood and unappreciated by many. My drawing is a goal in itself. I don't create art; I draw. It's an experience, a pleasure that has no equal. It is a journey without an end, a ride with endless possibilities, where good and bad are found in human existence. Drawing increases my heartbeat, which seems to in turn compose music for my illustrations. This harmony of sounds and pictures is my world, my life, my childhood memory, and my family. Inspirations are mine alone, close and dear to me. Everyday experiences of prosaic life are the best and the most important.
Living is a miracle. And we only get one chance at it. The journey ends the same for all of us. However we are responsible for the moral of its story. There is only one reality, its truth uncovered in pictures. No one has ever done its portrait the best. There is no best. Someone will always try again. I find myself there now, and only time will show how I portray reality's face.
Female figure has been the main focus of my recent inspirations. My current works represent women in search of truth. Women, who manifest resistance to external influences by continuously finding channels to self-understanding and independence. Women, who look deep into their souls, lose themselves in the process, become lonely at times, but never give up. They passionately continue on the path to freedom.
