Artist Statement
I was born in 1984 in Ukraine. I've been painting since I was 6 years old when I began attending an art school in Dnipropetrovsk. For the last 3 years I've been taking classes with professor Walter Monastyretsky.
The main direction of my work is impressionism, and my paintings are in the genre of still life and landscape. My collection of works also includes pictures painted in the fantasy genre. When choosing materials for my work, I prefer canvas and oil and I use the Alla Prima (also known as "wet on wet") oil painting technique.
My mission is to convey the emotion and the joy that I express in colors to my viewers and try to awaken their senses and emotions with color. My future aspirations are associated with painting as art for me is not only the way to express myself but also a great source of joy and life energy.
