From the beginning, the process of transforming rocks into jewelry has struck me as magical. And over the years that magical process has had its way with me, leading me from hobby to art. Designing and handcrafting jewelry fills me with a sense of accomplishment and integrity and has proven a most amenable vehicle for my translating inner vision to an outer reality.
I always start the process of designing a particular piece of jewelry from feeling the stones, their shapes and texture. That will determinate the final design. Every kind of stone has different energies and properties and learning about them is an amazing experience for me as well.
My influences are everything I see, feel, and experience, but the final character is always dictated by woman, her needs and beauty. I love when a woman can make a statement by wearing my jewelry, she can feel more confident, more beautiful, or simply more happy.
